Went to Surrey for a couple of days. Saw some beautiful sights and collected daughters partner from the army barracks. Then we saw a traffic jam - it was a flood, very precarious but strangely fascinating!

Just been to my first carers open day and it was very interesting, took John with me and yay it was wheelchair accessible. Got lots of information I needed including the fact that I can train to be a Reiki healer and go to Qi gong classes at Manchester Buddist centre. So what to do with the rest of the day??

Decided today was the day to start my blog. I think it may take some time to get the hang of it but hey life's a learning curve. It's Manchester, its Saturday and yes it's raining. Had a busy day at work but the bonus is on Saturdays lots of my friends call in to say 'Hi' I havent been out to check on the vegetable garden yet, so think I will sneak out with a torch and see if I can get a peek at the hedgehog family cleaning up the slug population. The guinea pigs and rabbit need their supper too before I can disappear to bed. Tomorrow is my favourite Sunday of the month- Goth meet-up group gathers to drink coke and put the world to rights. Our latest addiction is bags of sweets which I have to buy on the way to the pub. Will discover how to post pics as soon as poss and show you GinnyKnits world. Hope mines half as good as some of the great blogs I have checked out on here
