Am in love with my new Tilda stamp - bargain buy from Hobbycraft £3.99 because the front paper was missing. It stamps so well and pro markers are perfect for it.
Bethany went for a wander with Grandad the other day and they had a fabulous time. Dont know which of them was most tired lol. So much needs doing and Im struggling with my mobility. Thank goodness my frozen shoulder has finally defrosted or I really would be struggling. I invested in a cheap trail camera, and with Michaels help took 3000 photos of the living room ceiling. It was hilarious! Followed by 200 of the top of my head over the sewing machine after he went home. Above is an actual photo of the bird feeders but I hadnt got the hang of placement then. This wee one Lady Lily Bud is coming on in leaps and bounds. I havent seen her much as her and Mummy are enjoying baby groups and visiting friends after or year in the wilderness. I have a pile of things to finish on my work table so Must get on with it. I have set myself the challenge of finishing things so they can be packed up out of the way. Hoping the weather stays dry so I can get on with the garden.
Here is the update of Mums lockdown doll. She has pockets to put your sewing tools in. Im having issues with her stuffing at the moment and need to make her less wobbly/ I have had plenty of practice with toy making but never with one thats weighted with re-cycled poly pellets. This sleepy Princess Bethany is all worn out from crafting with Grandma. She has the most amazing ability to see ideas for stamping and card making and we havent a clue how she knows. She will go far. Other than crafting a few few trips out mostly for necessities its mostly groundhogs days here ( as my darling sister by another Mother says) Get up, get through the day, go to bed and repeat. It could be worse so count my blessings. Our extended family has lost 2 members to cancer this week. One very sudden and one expected but none the less difficult for all to comprehend. The selfish people not following the guidelines and spreading this damned virus have made our losses all the harder. No big gathering of supp
Had to post this, my grand - daughter is beautiful and calm, feisty, - twice blessed! Pickle and Boo is ticking along nicely. I will never be rich but I am happy about this area of my life. I opened an Etsy shop but they wouldn't let me have Pickle and Boo so its Gin and Pickle. I have been so busy with many, many things that the Etsy shop only has one item in it to date. This is my friend Karim who sadly passed away last week - such a shock. I wanted to post this here so the picture will be safe. Just before Christmas my sewing machine broke, the first of many electrical goods that we lost in the last 3 months. So I had to buy a new one with a little help from my friend Sarah, and I am so pleased with it. I seem to be improving with age as I have managed to conquer a couple of things this year - I finally learned how to knit in more than one colour neatly and can also applique really well. At present I think I would be lost without my online friends, they ar
